Welcome to U.S. Baseball Academy in Michigan

September 22, 2016, Michigan-- U.S. Baseball Academy’s Spring Training camps are a great way to get your players baseball season started on the right foot. While others are gathering winter rust, USBA players will be building their skills and improving techniques for the Spring season.  Youth players attending U.S. Baseball Academy sessions get the opportunity to train in the winter, just like the pros. Winter baseball camps help players stay sharp and start their Spring Baseball season in mid-season form.  Sessions are offered that focus on swing mechanics, pitching techniques, fielding skills and catching. Spring Training camps are run by some of the best local coaches in your area.

These offseason training sessions are hosted locally at Ann Arbor, Bangor, Battle Creek, Birch Run, Detroit, Flint, Lansing-Mason, Newport, Oxford, Port Huron and Warren. Since its inception in 1989, U.S. Baseball Academy has been training players during the winter months. Nearly 22,000 players took advantage of these offseason training sessions in 2015. Players of all ages and abilities are eligible for sessions starting in December and January. Use our Triple Play discount and save $120 on 3 skills. Each clinic is tailored for travel teams, senior leagues, high school and serious little league players in the Michigan area.

Don’t wait to register. Many sessions are filling up. You can register now and pay before the camps starts. Space is limited by a low player-coach ratio. Pre-registration is required. Youth baseball players in grades 1-12 can participate in skill sessions focusing on hitting, pitching, fielding and catching. Whether you are on a travel team or high school team already or aspire to be on one, start your spring in mid-season form by attending our four or six week camp.

More About U.S. Baseball Academy

U.S. Baseball Academy has trained more than 100,000 players across the country since its inception in 1988. Our 2013 and 2014 camps included more than 30,000 players, making it the most popular baseball training program in the U.S.

As we grow the national franchise, we maintain our original commitment to quality instruction at an affordable price. Each location promises the same proven itinerary of drills, a player-coach ratio of 6 to 1 or better, and a teaching staff of top high school and/or college coaches from your local area. We don’t just stamp our name on a series of camps. Our program is consistent across all locations and is developed by a national coaching staff and advisory staff that includes Major League players such as Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb.

This is not a lecture clinic. With a low player-coach ratio, each hitter, pitcher and catcher gets individual attention in a small-group atmosphere for one hour per week. An average hitting session includes about 30 players with six or seven experienced and professionally trained coaches. Pitching and catching sessions have smaller numbers and the same player-coach ratio. And with numerous age-specific sessions, instruction is specially tailored for each ability level.

Overall, it’s the type of intense, professional instruction that young players don’t normally have access to. And at $139 (additional sessions only $99) for the whole six-week program, its value is unrivaled.

Parents are welcome to observe, and many youth coaches leave with a valuable list of drills they can incorporate into their own practices. The timing of the program is perfect for preparing young players for the season ahead.

So, forget about the weather. What better way to get a jump on the upcoming season than a six-week Spring Training experience, featuring instruction from some of the area’s best coaches in a fantastic indoor facility? Many sessions sell out months before they begin, so don’t delay.
